Where: Manitoba Tall Grass Prairie Preserve
What will be happening:
Join us for the following presentations, activities and tours from 10am to 4:30pm
- Manitoba Bats
- Wetland Adventure
- Insect Vectors
- Caring for Wildlife
- Prescribed Fire Equipment • Bug Hunt
- Critter Dipping
- Face painting
- Bannock Bake
- Self-guided Driving Tour of the Preserve
Canteen and BBQ lunch on site (cash only)
Special Anniversary Events:
5:30pm to 10pm
- Traditional Ukrainian Supper and Museum Tour at Gardenton Park ($15.00 per adult, $7.00 per child, reservations requested)
Evening Presentations:
- Wildflowers from A to Z
- Ultrasonic Bat Calls
- Insect Collecting with Blacklights
Events will take place at the Prairie Shore Interpretive Trail.
